who's hatching may 4

I have 20-some of my own ducks eggs due the 4th, and blue goose eggs and bbs ameraucanas due the 6th. That's not all, as I have 6 broodies on eggs, and at least 3 of them should be hathing any day now (of course I forgot to mark when they were due

)

Then I have some muscovies in the bator as well, but they aren't due till the 11th and 14th.

Grandpa - 28 days does sound like an eternity seeing how 21 days IS an eternity!

I'm gonna have to find something to do this weekend so I don't drive myself crazy. Monday is shaping up to be a busy day...I'm supposed to be 3 different places at 6:00 p.m. so it looks like I will have to do some rearranging!

I'm am! I have 24 eggs from my flock, one is not showing anything and one appears to have stopped growing, but unfortunately I can only see into about 6 eggs the others have too dark a shell, also I'm worried the all might have died yesterday because the temp. went to 107

Good luck to everyone. I jumped in here but actually my hatch date is May 3rd. Today is Day 18 for me.

I got an assortment of 60 eggs from thepetpaw (Joni). 19 weren't fertile but 41 were. I think there are Silkies, Showgirls, NN, Polish, ducks, and who knows what else!

So basically we have mystery eggs and I won't know who is what until they hatch! LOL

I also have guinea eggs in another 'bator!

Oh, I am hatching on the 4th as well!! I have 7 duck eggs with good development, all jiggling, and last night when I candled most of them were picking at the membrane lining the air cells!!! Hopefully some outer action soon. . .I keep peering in waiting for a pip, but nothing yet! It is like waiting for Christmas--so sure it will never come, but inevitibly it does!

Mine go into the hatcher tonight also. My granddaughter is so excited. I'm down to 7 eggs left. Crossing my fingers and hope to get 3 silkies.

Just did my candle and transfer to hatcher and have 28 keepers. Started out with 38- lost 2 to cracks, a couple quitters, some clears...

Now comes the hard part... waiting...

Mine went to the hatcher last night, a bit unexpectedly I might add. They were supposed to go tonight, but after turning and misting the goose eggs in that bator, I decided to candle the duck eggs. Good thing, since 15 of the 17 or 18 good eggs in there had pipped into the air cell already!

Plus, at least half of them had already pipped the shell!! Sneaky little boogers, they hatched early last time too!

How are everyone else's eggs doing?
I have two ducks out, two zipped, and one more with multiple pips. They are a little ahead of schedule, but I realize now they are due on the 2nd not the 4th. Duh, it's my *goose* eggs that are due on the 4th. They are still developing, but don't look any where near ready to hatch yet!

I stopped turning mine and upped the humidity tonight. Let the waiting begin!

Incubating is such a love / hate thing for me.....I love it, but I hate the waiting (I'm sooo impatient!).

9 eggs in the bator now....3 were clear and removed.
