My shoebox/heating pad chick hatched! It's nice and fluffy dry and snuggled up to a teddy bear in it's new bigger box.

Hey there I am on the second set of eggs in my incubator. We had a 1st bad set out of 31 only 5 hatched

and 4 died within the week

and now I have 15 more

in the incubator so far we had 3 pipping this morning and 2 of them are out

and hopefully will do great waiting is soooooooo long and I think everyone hates the waiting game. But hopefully all will be good this time. To everyone I hope all your babies come out good and healthy.

Hi all, this is my 3rd hatch attempt, with traded eggs (blue cochin or cochin/favorelle crosses) I traded 4 of my polish chicks for. I got 13 of 14 my second attempt at hatching which was great, after comparing it to my first time which was 4/10.

I started with 12, discarded 3 soiled eggs, 3 of my 9 remaining were nonfertile, so now I have 6 (which is what I wanted 6 fertile eggs).

First chick pipped yesterday (day 20) and finally hatched tonight. I have 1 more pipped and some others wobbling but no more visible pips yet.

Well, my hatch is done. I had 14 live ducklings hatch, but one of them died. I also had one get all the way to the point of pushing its way out that died. So I have 13 ducklings total...Oh, and one chicken chick from eggs the broody left in the nest

Oh yeah, and I also have at least 5 chicks under a different broody at last count

2 turkeys are hatched and one turkens has hatched.

One of the turkeys is having problems and keeps rolling on its back. It seems strong, but has no balance.
