started with 18 eggs, had to discard one, I have 14 babies, three eggs left, one of them is pipped.

All four of my chickies are hatched. Two hatched out on Thursday. The other two hatched today. Mama hen was uninterested in the two that hatched today. One of them was out of the shell wet and cold. the other one was in the shell with an airhole and cold. I brought them both in and put them in a box with a heatpad underneith and a brooder lamp on top and a nice warm wet towl. They are both drying off now and trying to walk. The last one out is loud!! When It's dark and they are a bit stronger I'll go slip them under mama hen, She is doing great with her two other babies. Yes pics soon. My DH is out and about with the camera.

My silkie just hatched out (3 days ago) two babies from adopted eggs. They're beautiful! We're waiting to see what they turn into, they're half White Leghorn and ?

I've had good luck in the past using a blow dryer to dry a baby that was hatched with egg stuck all over his feathers, he was pitiful, so I shampooed and blow dryed him. My friend always told the story about how she called and asked what I was doing and I said "I'm in the middle of blow drying a chicken"......"WHAT?"

The last one hatched, the other 2 were alive yesterday but failed to pip and were dead in the shell this morning. !5 beautiful babies. Just moved 33 over to the hatcher.
