I am so torn about fall...

I love the weather
I hate my birthday (which has been cancelled this year)
I love the colors
I hate working on halloween (if you worked in an ER full of crazy EMT's you would too)
I love pumpkin pie
I hate my allergies
I love holidays
I hate spiders

Fall begins tonight but today and the rest of the week is going to be in the 90s STILL.

With the heat and the bugs I'm beyond ready for fall temps!

Well fall may be falling but it's still so hot my Gals are laying hardboiled eggs. Really, we're still having 90 degree days here in central NC but at least it's been a lot drier and less humid than it was this summer. And at night it cools down so we can open the windows when we go to bed. But I can tell you this is the hottest year I've seen it here in my almost 25 years back in the South. I grew up over in Alabama where it's really hot. My Daddy used to have a saying that went "It's hotter than the hinges on the gates of Hell..." But starting Sunday we're supposed to cool down considerably and finally get some rain so maybe, just maybe Fall will be falling here as well...
