Still no relief here. It was even 100 degrees one day this week. It's like August has never ended. We're about 10 inches below average for rainfall for the year and there have been 463 wildfires in my state in the last 30 days.

We have a predicted 70% chance of rain on Sunday and Monday, though!!!

Hot here, too. It's supposed to be in the 90's tomorrow and all through the weekend.

To make matters worse, I'm 7 months pregnant and the AC died last week. I am miserable. Where's the cold weather?! I need it!

Well only 86 today but still no rain.Field fire everyday around here.Rain just missed us again.Seems to be normal but needed.Praying for rain is not working so anyone know how to get some rain for alot of us????????????????????????????????

Well, our weatherman said there is a front headed our way that might keep us in the 50s on Sunday. So it is possible that we'll be in the mid 90s tomorrow and the upper 50s on Sunday...

Finally, finally, finally!!! We're getting rain. We've not seen rain for a month here in Central North Carolina. It was about 90F today but this evening as promised it started to rain. And we're supposed to be in for rain for several days, at least until mid-week. And the temps will drop down into the low 70's to boot!!! Fall is a falling!!! And we have our fall garden in too!!!
