I love my Brinsea Octagon 20 advance ex incubator. I get great hatches, even with shipped eggs IF the eggs came from healthy parent birds, were less than 5 days old when shipped, were properly stored while being collected and were packaged well! It is pretty tight to hatch more than 12 chicks at a time (holds 24 eggs) so I use my first incubator a Genesis 1588 for hatching the eggs. Works out pretty well that way
My last three hatches of shipped eggs, I had 8/10 and 8/12 bantam buff Brahma chicks hatch, but only 3 out of 9 porcelain d'Anver chicks hatch and one of the chicks had a thiamine deficiency (called star gazing) which means the parent bird was deficient in thiamine- vitamin B1. I could tell that the eggs were also old because when I put them into an Oxine dip (kills bacteria that might be on the egg) most of them floated!!

I've got the one they sell at Tractor supply. Its a little giant.
My temps seem stable now, I'll be looking into a brinsea for Christmas this year though. I just hate spending money on eggs only to lose them because of temp control issues.
What did you get?
