Who's Setting Eggs This Week[end]? [August 8-14]

My first box came. The Silkies. They were wrapped in paper towel, egg carton and styrofoam. They were all good, thankfully. So excited, first time hatching Silkies.

My lonely one from my last hatch that was a replacement for poor packaging is a wiggling, day 22. Fingers crossed. She is a Brahma, just don't know what color yet.

I'm just bummed that I paid $70 for them. I'll have to wait another month or so until I can put some more funds together.

The seller hasn't offered me anything in the way of a refund or even replacement eggs, if she thinks I'm leaving positive feedback, she's out of her mind :/ I'm hoping that the USPS comes up with a refund for me.
If you bought them on ebay and paid thru paypal. You set up a claim with ebay and paypal to get your money back. You are protected by paypal and ebay on your purchases incase of lost or damage merchandise.

So the post office called at 7:30am to tell me my eggs were in. I was there and back by 8am. The lady I bought the eggs from packaged them so well that even the cold pack was still cold!!! I received 15 eggs (ordered 12) and only one had a slight chip in it (looks like a pip actually.) I put some wax over it and will hope for the best. Here they are:

Great Labeling on all sides of the box!!!

I took out some of the padding and there was still more to be found!!!

1st layer of bubble wrap.

Each egg was individually wrapped in bubble wrap.

And here they are!!! 15 Heritage RIR eggs settling down
to go into the bator later tonight.

Very good idea.

I looked into it, they only cover you if it is in result fraud by the buyer. It doesn't cover packages damaged by the post :(

I am hoping mine get here soon. They said they shipped on the 7th but all the tracking info shows is the electronic label was made. Whatever that means. I hope mine don't look like that too. My first try at incubating. I had hoped they would be here today, but no luck.

Thanks everyone. I'm feeling better about it today, I'm still mad but not as mad as I was yesterday.

I was able to find some other bbs Orphington eggs on Craigslist, so I got 6 and was able to set them all last night (though not before my incubator had another temperature freak out)

I need a new incubator. Any suggestions?
