Who's the head of your pecking order?

Hey all! Just wanted to mention that this month is Grey's birthday. I don't know exactly when she was born, since I got her in late February 2017 at about 12 weeks. So I just clock back three months to December 2016. This is her fifth birthday.

Grey shares her birthday with another one of my hens, a barnvelder named "Dinner", who was also born sometime in December 2016.

Broody is boss hen in my flock, she was the only escapee hen after a dog attack. She is alive cause she was broody at the time so we let her hatch the remaining eggs in our egg basket. Now she is boss over 20 other birds.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm pleased to say that Gwyneth seems to have overcome whatever was ailing her for the past two months. She suddenly got her appetite back, is pooping normally again, and pretty much acting her normal bossy self. Yay!

Dixie the black australorp is for sure at the head of the pecking order. While she doesn’t peck others often, she doesn’t get pecked at all. She’s for sure a drama queen and a very motherly hen

Louise, my black sexlink, is the top hen in my flock. She just realized a few months ago that she was the biggest hen in the group. She sort of runs the nesting box usage, makes sure noone cuts in line or uses the wrong box.

Head rooster Paco. Ironically the smallest bird I have.
He has a son who is larger but hasn't challenged him. Hopefully I'm rehoming him this week.
