Whose Egg is it?

I wasn't sure where to post this, hope this board is OK!

I have some hens together... 2 black Langshan and 1 speckled Sussex. I have a light-brown egg and a medium-brown egg. Which breed has the darker egg... the Langshan or the Sussex?

Yep- my sussex always laid a pale brown, almost pinkish egg.

What about a tan egg with brown freckles? Choices are Brahmas, Cochin, Silkies, D'Uccles. Got a solid darker tan egg, pretty sure it was from a Brahma - not sure about the spotted one. These girls just started laying.

From my experience, my hatchery Brahmas will often lay speckled eggs. But, the rest of the breeds you listed are bantams, so, I'm sure you'll know just by size if your Brahmas aren't bantam.

Oh yeah sorry, the Brahmas are bantams, too. I have three of them - so maybe one of them is laying speckled eggs and one is laying a tan egg with no speckles - I'm thinking they may both be from the Brahmas.
