First let me introduce myself.  My name is Jeff,  I live in east Ky.  I farm small scale with horses,   and come from a long line of poultry men.  I have 55 eggs in an incubator that at 21 days would be June 1.  At this point,  I have 8 healthy looking chicks and several others that have pipped.  They are Auraconas (probably misspelled)  and the rest are mainly barnyard mix.  When I got the eggs,  the oldest were 2 weeks old,  and some have hatched.  I am using a LG 9200 that I have added a muffin fan to,  as I had bad luck as a still air incubator. Temp 99,  and humidity 50 percent until yesyerday and raised to around 60.  So far so good.  I also have an older LG with wafer thermostat and muffin fan added with 59 eggs due June 15.  I will candle maybe tomorrow.  I'll keep you up to date  on the progress.  I have read many of the posts, and have enjoyed all.  Even having grown up with raising poultry,  the posts have been quite informative.  Good to be here.  I hope all has a great evening.
