Why am I so tired?!

I am so glad to see other women saying this. I have been just absolutely exhausted for the past two weeks, maybe three. I was getting concerned because I usually am up early and while I go to bed early, I get a LOT done during the day. I am also sick of cooking, haven't baked my bread either (well, my DH doesn't like the fact he has to slice it, and its not "big" like regular chemically induced bread). I take excellent vitamins, a very good antioxident, sleep decent for someone 56 and have a good outlook on life, and am not againest a power nap in the afternoon before our DS gets home from school, so I am ready for him. I always have stress, but I try my best to deal with it and as Scarlet said, "tomorrow is another day!". My SIL told me he thought it had to do with barometric pressure and the changing seasons, and I thought that sounded a LOT better than going to the doctor and having blood work and Lord knows what else, so went with that. And, I am perking up now, so hope that is what it was. Hope the rest of you lovely ladies are feeling better now too.

I went through the same thing over the summer. Felt sleepy all the time, was having trouble remembering things, etc. Finally I went in to my doctors office and he ran some blood tests. Everything was fine. He suggested that I may need a mild anti-depressant as these were classic symptoms. I've been on Celexa for about 4 weeks now and I have never felt better!! I was hesitant to try it but am glad I did. I just didn't have any oompf before. No motivation. Now I'm back to my old self and loving life again!!

If you don't get to feeling better, go in for a checkup.

I concur!!! I have a nephew and whenever I even think of Mason all I can here is "It's the Mickey Mouse...Club house... Come inside it's fun inside! It's the Mickey Mouse...Clubhouse... Come inside there's fun inside!" That or "It's Shaun the Sheep- It's Shaun the Sheep- He doesn't miss a trick or ever miss a beat" Blah blah blah... on and on...

Yeah for about 3 months I have also been tired, lethargic, un-motivated, not eating normally... and the last week has been terrible, I am going with Lunar Cycle and season changes for my vote...I also think I have thyroid issues and/or some kind of yeast disorder in my digestive tract causing the yuky headache dizzy feelings.

Sounds like itmight be a good idea to check in with a doc. I ran into the same symptoms just alttle while ago and it turned out to be some sort of infection. It'd been coming on gradually so I may have had it for a while. I got antibiotics and have been working on eating more red meat which I seem to need to stay healthy. I'm feeling much, much better now. Now if I can just beat the insomnia I'll be in great shape!
I hope you feel better really soon!
