Why are my girls not laying like they were?

Oh wow thanks aart that is the bomb! But were your girls afraid of this at first? Mine are so skeptical of anything new...except a few of them. That it a great idea I will start freezing a chunk of ice. It looks like a couple of your girls have feathers off of their backs too? How did that happen do you know?

Also Art yest my girls free range some but it is actually a chicken yard for them that is fenced in but still ....they get grass and different things to scratch through whenever we are home.

Eh, some were. Had a couple I could pick up and put in there, then the rest followed suit.

Both SLW had brittle feathers easily broken by treading, made worse by self and others pecking. They grew back after a molt and stayed good.
