Why are my hens not molting

My hens are 18 months old now and they have not molted yet, except for a partial molt when they were about 6 months old. I would have thought the fall weather and shorter days would have triggered a molt prior to winter, but it hasn't. Is it unusual for them to wait this late in the year to start their first full molt?

Some of mine haven't molted yet either, some years some don't start until November.

some will molt in august some wait til December, and some go thru a light molt and never do look like their molting.
