I just candled some I eggs I picked up from my hens....They just started laying again about a week or 2 ago....I got 2 eggs today....so that means 2 different hens and they both have tiny air cells. And the one I got yesterday. I am confused, Ive never seen this before. Whats going on?

the air cells start tiny. As the egg loses moisture the air cell will grow. Older eggs will have larger air cells.

Taht sounds perfectly normal. Compare it with an egg that is a week old, you'll see the difference.

thanks guys! i was comparing them to older eggs that I am going to set. I guess Ive just never candeled my hens eggs right after theyve been set...im gonna look at them now and see if theyre bigger.
