Why are your runs so TALL?

Pics
I'd opt for tall access every square inch of the coop and run if we ever build a new one in the future. We have a raised coop to offer more floor space in the run. It's about 18-24" ground to coop. Try grabbing an extremely fast and cleverly evasive chicken out from there😒 I was NOT a happy chicken tender at that moment. We also have it leaning so 8' down to 4' front to back respectively. I'd prefer to have it at minimum 5' next time. I've hit my head on the corner of a 2X4 roosting bar a few times on the lower side.

Funny how many quirks you find after building what you thought to be the perfect coop and run 😂
