My 3 speckled sussex chickens haven’t laid an egg since mid September. They had a mild molt in September but have long since grown their feathers back. I wormed them in October. Supported them nutritionally with extra protein during the molt. I feed them Purina organic l’arena pellets. They have additional cups of grit and oyster shell available. I live in Hawaii where the length of the day is never longer than Are they just done laying? Is this typical of Speckled Sussex? Any ideas?
Thanks

At 2 and a half years old they are long overdue for a break in the laying cycle. They will lay again only not as prolifically as before.

Days aren’t ever longer than 13 hours 26 minutes.

No moulting here and I only kept my birds for around 18 months so sadly I’ve no experience to share :(
