Why aren't they laying?

I have a red of some sort and lately she has been very noisy for short periods of time she is around 22 weeks old and has very red combs her butt is pink and not very red but just a little while ago she was out being really loud. they are free ranging mostly now and so dont stay in a pen does it sound like she could be laying? If so is there a way I can tell for sure?

Also when do black sex links lay? I heard around 17 weeks but they are around 22 weeks, a few have big red combs, but not many could the weather be causing them to be slow?

i would check where they range my bsl started at 20 weeks good luck an happy huntinge
