Why arn't my hens laying

My chickens have stoped laying I would like to know why thanks:yiipchick:cd:yiipchick

Chickens need 14 hours of daylight for optimum laying...a simple light bulb with a timer to go on in the am hours (usually around 2am) will provide the additonal light needed as well as allowing the girls to go to roost in the evening as usual, and not get caught of the roost in the dark, with time added in the pm.

yes like bigzio said..chickens need at 14 hrs of light...my chickens have four lights in there coop...it keeps them warm and gives them the 14 hrs of light they need to lay eggs..my chickens are laying 5-10 eggs a day
