How does Penicillin come in to play here and or any other antibiotic? Have you did any research on the medications used in medicated poultry feed?

I'm pretty sure the medicated chick feed is just a small dose of amprolium in order to help the chicks develop immunity against coccidiosis. If you have an actual outbreak of cocci in your adult flock you'd want to treat them with the actual amprolium (Corid).
