We just did a crop surgery a week ago and pulled out a bunch of hay. She was doing great until we put hay in her area and now her crop is full of hay again. Surgery again tomorrow, but how can we stop her from eating hay? she won't live long with crop surgery every week.
Is she maybe missing something in her diet? She gets egg ration food all day as well as scratch every morning and free range in afternoon until dark. plenty of granite grit and oyster shells.
