It's not a compound, it's a fortress.
You're probably right, thanks!I agree, I don't think they hate you, they're just mischievous. Don't take it personally when they do that

I dont know. But like I don't tend to take things personally with animals, particularly with goats. My sibling's buck is an absolute PAIN, but he just a goat, they're naughty and can be a little smart tooThanks for the response Clouds! I understand everything you're saying and I do tend to take things too personal. I really appreciate the info. While we're on the topic, I just remembered that I wanted to ask this. If I'm gone for a day my Mom takes care of them and they act like angels! They never pull food out of the fedder, are dead still when being milked and hardly ever yell! So, I'm just curious why they like her but not me?!
Looks like I outta take lessons from youI dont know. But like I don't tend to take things personally with animals, particularly with goats. My sibling's buck is an absolute PAIN, but he just a goat, they're naughty and can be a little smart tooMaybe they behave cause they don't know her as well, and are less likely to be cheeky.
That's a good point! I usually try to rub then against my pants so they're toasty before milking but sometimes I do fotget. When you milk, are your hands cold? Warm them first.
Yeah..... I'm sure you're rightThere is no way they can know when the bottles are full and deliberately spill it just to make you mad. Maybe you need to be more careful or fill the bottles less full, or put a lid on the bottles.
Oh my goshWhat color is your hair, does it look like hay? Is it different from your mom's hair? Wear a hat.
Just because they do these things it does not mean they don't like you.
You know, that's a really great point! My Mom is definitely more chill around them. I actually read your response before I milked tonight. I took a second to rid my self of negative energy and anxiousness before I went out there. And what do you know! They behaved flawlessly!! Thank you so much! They were so much less tense and so well behaved!I'm sure as with most animals they may be able to feel your anxiety when you are with them. And maybe they notice your mom doesn't have that? That could be why things are so drastically different. Just tossing out another suggestion to consider.
That's great! Glad you worked it out. Animals tend to feel and react to our emotional states. They are like little mirrors! You relax, they relax. You be tense ,... well, there ya go!You know, that's a really great point! My Mom is definitely more chill around them. I actually read your response before I milked tonight. Simply 'goats being goats'.I agree, I don't think they hate you, they're just mischievous. Don't take it personally when they do that
