OK, this has all just gotten to be too, too much. Anyone who has grown up on store bought eggs has probably eaten fertile eggs plenty of times without ever knowing it, there are roosters in plenty of the supplier farms, and they havent died yet and no one is going to die tomorrow from eating eggs from a yard that has a rooster in it. This thread was kinda cute at first, now its just gotten bizarre. Having roosters around to protect the flock, and to breed more chickens has been the standard for centuries, if you dont want to fine, don't keep a roo, but really, rooster juice? Yes, there are cells that combine in the hens reproduction system before the shell is laid over the egg itself, and if anyone can taste a single cell or three after an egg is produced, laid, gathered, and fried, poached or boiled, well, god bless em.
