Why do people have to be so mean?

CALL CPS dangit!!! That woman's a control freak and the kid's paying for it big-time!!! Please, for the kid's sake, call them. If she's that way when someone's around, then how do you think she is to that boy when no one's around? I'm not one of those "Oh no, the kid's got a boo-boo, better turn 'em in" kind of folks either, believe me.

If you watch that Hoarders show, which I have only a couple of times, because its so distressing, you can plainly see its a disease and it destoys the whole family. That little guy needs to be out of there, or at least monitored, because if he is 10 and feels that way, and is talking of taking her car and leaving, then things are not good. . .poor little guy.

I do agree with one poster who mentioned not to involve the school they do have enough on their plate already. My main thing here is once again there seems to be the absence of a male role model in the house, some folks like to refer to them as Husbands. There seems to be more and more of these sorts of problems when you have women alone trying to raise boy's who will soon grow to be men, if this kid and his mother is as bad as you say I don't really see any sane guy making a commitment there. With the huge growing trend of single mothers out there who are of the mind that they can go it alone and be just fine, well here is what happens sometimes and will continue to get worst as the trend get's worst, sad very sad but true. I do wish the kid well and hope things get better but probably not before he is in jail for some wife beater crime. Sorry had to vent on a different angle here.
