Why do they eat so much? pics

There are around 100 turkeys, about 15 geese, 30 ish muscovy ducks, 15 peafowl. The bigger birds eat more than the chickens. Either way the feed mill owner is my bestest buddy.

I can relate. Mine gives me calenders and pens! And we aren't feeding anywhere near what you are!​

I can't wrap my teeny pea brain around those numbers. I have about 100 birds, and I pick up 300 pounds of feed every 3 weeks.

Do you free range them at all?

I thought I was going through a lot of feed for 63 birds when I started having to buy 150lbs per 2 weeks and it was barely lasting from payday to payday, but it only averaged out to just over 1lb per bird per week.​
