Why do we create so much trash for the landfills?

I 100% agree. It’s really sad to think about how much longer the earth can last in the condition it’s in. I do what i can to reduce any waste, but i’m also guilty of underestimating just how bad it really is.

A rule in my family is whenever we go to the beach we pick up at least one piece of garbage each, so it’s better then we left it. We usually walk out with more, but i think that’s a good rule.

Because "WE" don't fix it, use it up, wear it out or eat it all. We are a throw away hedonistic society.

Eco-friendly plastics exist, but they're expensive to make in comparison. Would be really nice if they would figure out how to mainstream them and bring down the cost.

And a lot of people buy way more than what they need, sadly. Myself included. Online shopping can be an evil thing. XD

There already actually is a fungus they found that eats plastic: (not saying we should keep using it the way we are though)
