my idea was to have 4-5 hens and 1 roo. I ended up with nearly 50. I am now selling my house and plan to move to the country where I want to breed black copper marans, naked neck that will lay blue eggs + a few other breeds. I also want guinea fowl, indian runner ducks, peafowl, some goats and maybe sheep as well.

you see how 5 chickens can mess your life, lol.

When I decided to get chickens it was for the eggs, but it didn't take long to fall in love! I started with the idea of 3, but got 6 and now have 12 and just expanded the coop so I can get a few more. So I guess I'm in the pets with benefits group!

"Chicken Math", it's a thing.
