why does my chick look so skinny

my chick is almost ready to outside with the others but she seems really skinny shes been eating her chickstick and drinking her water but she cant seem to swallow her purina start grow

I am new to chickens so I don't know if this info' would be helpful but I raised three families of muscovy ducklings recently and while the mother ducks had no problem with the Start & Grow, the babies just seemed to nibble at it and preferred to wait for the shredded lettuce that I gave them once a day. I began to saturate a plate of the Start & Grow with water and that really did the trick. Those ducklings really went through the food from that point. Perhaps this would work with your chick? Wish I could be more helpful.
