Why does my turkey keep growing wings? **PICS ADDED**

It's definitely not his beard, he doesn't have much of one yet and it is black. He's a Bourbon Red so his wings are white. The one on his breast has a bone and long white feathers, I haven't investigated the new one on his back but it also has a cluster of long white feathers growing. I need to get DH to hold him to get pics. In the meantime here's a bad photoshop job of what he looks like.

He doesn't seem to even notice them, the one on his breast is somewhat in the way but he's always had it so it doesn't bother him. I hope he stops at 4 though.

Ok from what you posted of ur bad photoshop job of what he looks like.
her one of my turkeys as you can see the from one looks like this ( all black hair like strings in the front of his breast just under the neck area and around the middle of breast )

I agree, that's one for the vet to see. They might even write it up for a science journal, it's pretty unusual.
