Why does our 2 day old duckling shake when he eats his mush.

A few things come to mind, do you feel any obstructions along the duckling's neck, does she gasp when she shakes her head? Another thing would be the feed is rancid or moldy, they shake there head when something tastes very bad. Feed mixed with water can go moldy and rancid very quickly, check the feed for any mold.

Sorry, I actually just watched the video, they do that motion when the feed is too big.

Thats a good point. When I was mixing with water I made sure and changed it and totally washed their dish 3 times a day so it couldn’t mold .
