Why does stinky food taste so good?

Mmmm Kimchi...

The smell of a house fermenting 15 gallons of kimchi in the kitchen can probably make some weaker in the stomach want to puke instead of salivate. LOL

I'm told we eat way too much garlic by some people. I disagree. The only time we had too much garlic was when I sliced 4 cloves onto a small homemade cheese pizza. Shoud've sauteed the slices, first.

I dearly love almost every cheese made.
But I avoid items made with cabbage.

I never tried the fishies mentioned, but would probably like them. I loved sardines and smoked oysters as a kid, and still crave them sometimes.
Never tried a durian. I wonder if we even get those in Tennessee....
