Why does this chick look like this?

Hello everyone. Can any of you good people tell me why this chick looks so different from the others. They are all "easter egger" chicks less than 1 week old. They all have big wings and some tail feathers coming in. Except the one in the middle. It has stubby little wings and no tail feathers coming in. Could it be a roo or ??? Any insights on this?

Easter Eggers are mixed breeds, so it might be a different mix. Very cute though!

I guess I wouldn't have expected its wings to be so small no matter its mix

Mine are 6 days old. I have 5 pullets (hopefully). Only one, a buff Orpington) has tail feathers.

I’ve heard feathering out faster is usually a sign of a pullet, but most pullets don’t have tail feathers at a week old.

My other two orpingtons have a bit of fluff on their backsides that look like maybe they’ll be tail feathers in a few days? But neither of my Easter eggers have no tail fluff looking like it’s going to be tail feathers.

Could be a runt, could be a male (if there's other indicators, such as behavior), or it's just growing at its own pace.
