    It is a spot where more pigment is deposited on the egg shell.

    Yep....Pigment...Lots of crazy eggs you will get .....

    Looks like the shell is rougher there?
    Is shell thinner too?
    Shell gland glitch.

    Roughness can gather more pigment.
