Why does this keep happening?

That is funny I have chicks in coop and brooder and in incubater and in incubator and talking to hubby today that when I butcher some roosters in 12 weeks I got to incubate some more eggs to replace ones butcher..I said will have to buy as my hens won't be old enough to lay eggs yet. Already getting the fever and got a cycle going as is..

Well lets see. First I look around the yard and notice I have too many chickens. So I sell some. Then I look around and notice the yard looks empty so I hatch some.

Then the people I sold some too want some more, so I need to hatch some more. Then I see a color I don't have so I have to have it. So I hatch some of them. Last time the price was too good to pass up on.

Am I just making excuses? I'm done for.

I'm assaulted with the "Maternal Instinct" thing all the time too & not just with eggs...........but you really do have to build up your flock............"you can rebuild it, better, stronger, faster..." (sorry, slipped back to 1976 flashbacks of the sixmillion dollar man)

Wow, if I had the "better, faster, stronger - six million dollar chicken" it could beat up the neighbor dogs!! I wonder if I could have Rodney (JG roo) transformed into one!

You sound like me. Is there a way to brainwash DH so this all makes sense to him? Becuase he is seriously trying to inhibit my hatching!!!
