why don't silkie breeders answer their emails?

Have not been to any ABA shows. I really don't like getting started birds. Most of them cost a fortune. I know that might be the way to go. But 2nd thing is I hate having to isolate new birds. If I hatch them myself I don't have to worry about isolation w/ the exception of while they are little and that's not a big deal for me. I'm not a member of the ABA or ASBC so don't know when shows are.

I would be glad to sell you hatching eggs. My hens have all been broody lately and I just let them, because I wasn't wanting to hatch any eggs right now. And using them to hatch other stuff. I have a couple splashes that were penned away from my lavender rooster, so they were not fertile. I just put them in with a young rooster that is VERY fertile. I have him also in with two paint silkies but I am trying to hatch all their eggs myself right now. That's the short of it why no eggs. If you want, I can separate the paint silkies from the rest and sell you whatever else is laid. It won't be much, may not be anything. I would have to check fertility, but I don't want to hatch any of those. You can have them for free if you want to pay shipping.
