Why Eggs Might be Becoming Harder to Peel article

I always knew fresh ones were a real pain to peel. I use 1/4 cup of salt in the water and that cured the problem. I don't believe that it only takes 4 days to get eggs to market though.
 
Why would you want to add baking soda if it'll make the eggs more sulfury?

However, the reasoning for why it helps, but there's gont to be a better alternative if the side effect is sulfur.

I came across a really good article recently on how to peel fresh eggs. I tried it and will never go back!! I finally got fresh deviled eggs that didn't look all mutilated!!!

OH, Barker - I'm excited to read the article you posted! I feel like I've tried everything, except the egg steamer thing. Only reason I've not tried THAT is because I just don't have the counter or storage space for the thing!
