why has my chicken stoped laying?

hi one of my brown shavers was just starting to lay she layed for six days in a row then stoped i know they sometimes they have one day off a week but it has been two full days now and she has not started to lay again anyone have any idea whats going on?

she is around 25 weeks old she is not moulting and it is summer where i am in new zealand but it has been raining for the past 2 days would that stop her laying? and i havint changed her food or where her coop is they have a fenced off area and i have checked for hidden nests

It’s possible that she is eating her eggs, or maybe she is laying somewhere where you haven't look for the eggs. If it is the first then she needs more calcium in her diet.

Taking a couple of days off is no big deal.

A couple of days break is not unusual at all. As long as all other behaviors are normal, there is nothing to be concerned about.
