Why hasn't she bounced back?

I have 6week old chicks. They are in the coop and run doing great. However, Monday evening I heard my two year old hen squawking and I ran outside to find my dog with one of the chicks in her mouth. She dropped it immediately and the chick ran for cover and the dog ran in the house (after a horrific tongue lashing from me). Mabel (the chick) had flown over what we thought was a tall enough fence and that is when the dog got her. Anyway, I checked her all over and the only "spot" on her was a little round blood bruise under her wing. There were no other marks on her. I put her back in the coop for the night.
The next morning and still today she is just standing around all hunched up. She is eating and drinking but nothing else. So the question is will she ever get over the fright of being caught by the dog? Is there anything else I can do to help her? She is an EE (hoping for green eggs) and one of my favorites.
Thanks for any help you have to give!

I think she will get better with love and some care, make sure the coop is well heated and not cold.
Why not take her to the vet, ask if he/she can do a checkup for you.

I hope she will recover, she should. She is probably very sore and might have some internal bruising. Think about any accident you have been in, the next day you most likely did not feel like skydiving or crosscountry skiing (some accidents I do not want to get out of bed the next morning).

Give her some extra treats - scrambled/boil egg, thawed frozen veggies and a bit of love.
