awww you are most welcome...I am glad Lancelot and I could help. Good luck with your little boy.
This is the rooster that started my love affair with the boys, as well as my love for the Blue Orps. This is Suede, he is owned by Speckledhen here on BYC. His eyes caught my attention...they are the kindest eyes I ever seen and there is a softness about them that melts my heart. And he is a darling boy in person too.
A moment of sheer joy for me...visiting Speckledhen in GA and getting to feed the Suede blueberry muffins I baked for him and getting to hold all 14 lbs of him in my lap...all the sweetness my boy Thor had came from his daddy what a sweet big ole boy he is....
So, I set out to get a son of his for my very own and I got eggs from Speckledhen and from them I hatched a little girl who is Blue and a little splash boy....my precious Thor. I lost him to the heat last summer. I cried for weeks and I still miss him terribly. Poor boy got the blade of his comb ripped off by two other roos when they were growing up...he got tagged teamed so his comb looks funny in my back. But gosh I loved that boy more than I can say.
I was also blessed with another son of his last year...he broke his neck in a freak accident. I was heartbroken.
Of course Lancelot is on the first page, but let me show you my other boys.
This is Lucky...he is a project d'uccle...he is in essence half mille fleur d'uccle and half lavender d'uccle, getting ready to crow sitting on my daughter's hand LOL
This is ZoomZoom, a Mille Fleur d'uccle, I believe he is split to lavender because he is throwing some porcelain babies
This is Leo my goofy Silkie boy:
Napoleon, Frizzled Serama:
My Porcelain d'Uccle who had a heart attack a couple months back, Spike
Severus, an EE/BA that I re-homed in April with one of his girls...they lady that took him thought he was gorgeous and she just had to have him. LOL
So..yeah the roos are special
