Why I don't feed frozen treats or water

Sounds like sales girl at FB has more common sense than the managers who are responsible for placing orders. Often, these places simply receive what ever the hatchery they've contracted with chooses to send. Might be RIR and BSL one week, and leghorns and Isa Browns the next week. It doesn't matter what makes sense, or even what the customers prefer. customers usually accept what ever they have on a take it or leave it basis.

That sounds likely. What you say makes plenty of sense why mention white when they are not available?

These were I and my friends first birds. My friend took me along for the ride and talked me into moving up my schedule for buying. Which is to say She bought, I just picked them out.

Needless to say we had many questions concerning feed and equipment. We didn't even find out what kind of chicks we had until much later. Sales had to research records to find out exactly what they ordered at that time.

Seeing the white meat birds alongside the others in brooder brought home reality of how quickly they grow! I digress, lol.
