I have 2 beautiful, evil, soul-stealing Silkies...and my mom laughs every time she sees them in with my other chickens. She agrees...they are not chickens....they are muppets, or maybe marionettes. When I was a kid, I liked marionettes and had a fuzzy bird-like puppet...that's exactly what my Silkies look like!!!

Well, DH and I got smitten with the fuzzballs after the Fort Worth Livestock Show last year. We managed to resist, but just barely. He's started making noises and the show is just a few months away. What are the odds that we are leaving with a silkie this year?

I've warned him about the soul stealing thing, but the man just won't listen.
