Why is her head like this?

I mean does she move her head stiffly? Or does she seem pretty normal with how she moves her head?

Nope, she moves her head fine. She's just small and vulture like! Her middle toes are crooked though

Hey all, this is my favorite chick Tip. She has always been the runt of the brood... much smaller than the other chicks but doing better since being seperated and fed extra grower. She is healthy though, lively, and fairly tame. Why is her head like this though? It looks like a vulture almost.

She looks healthy and normal to me. Some breeds just have smaller combs, and those white feathers around the face may have something to do with why you think she looks odd. She should do fine.

And I wouldn't worry about the toes, too much, either. They can get around with some pretty funky looking feet sometimes. The only time you have to worry is if the foot is folded over so much that they're putting their weight on an area of the foot that isn't designed to be walked on - they can get sores there when that happens.

Didn't look that way to me. One area was definitely fluffy. And both areas I've indicated certainly looked like feathers upon close observation of the picture. If they aren't, you need a better, more close-up picture to go by. *shrug*
