I have been looking it seems like forever for some cheap rural land with trees and no close neighbors. I think it may be impossible!! I only want about 10 acres with no close neighbors for around $2000 or less an acre. Why is it so hard to find??? I'm not even particular - Mnt land I could put a cabin on would even work. I just want a place to get away and possibly move to later on. It is so frustrating!!

I don't know about nasty- I'm wanting somewhere pleasurable.

LOL... I don't blame you. It is actually ok in some spots. Just dry. I agree though... it is so hard to find good cheap land that doesn't flood or isn't a desert plot.

Come to Nebraska... Get a piece of the good life. Anywhere west of Omaha or Lincoln, you can get some nice land under 2k. We have a very low unemployment rate and cheap taxes! Summers are warm, but not too hot and winters are cold, but rarely freezing!
GREAT place to live

We have 10 acres in Arkansas with the nearest real neighbor a mile away. My Dh wants to sell it, but I want to keep it. We only paid $12,000 for it with a mobile home, well, electricity, etc. Can't find that deal now since the price in that area has skyrocketed. He figures we can get at least $30,000 for it now.
