Why Is My Cat Peeing In The Sink?

vet time.

Crystals can return, especially if they have something called FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease). Also, crystals can turn into stones and/or infection (having gone through this, it is not fun, and not cheap). However, as long as she is still 'going', she probably does not have a stone (disclaimer: I am not a vet). If I were you, I would just put a call into the vet she last saw (bonus: they don't charge for advice over the phone). They may want to see her and do a urine test, for crystals. It is up to you what you want to do, the test can be a 'wee' bit expensive, but it is worth knowing what the cause is. Since she has had crystals in the past, it is most likely reoccurring. The vet can prescribe a very helpful food called Science Diet C/D, which works wonders! Also, try picking up some Nutri-Vet Uri-Ease Paw Gel, it is only about $6 online at Drugstore.com. The Gel has Cranberry Extract in it. Do NOT get the Nutri-Vet Uri-Ease TREATS, get the GEL! Most cats do not like the treats, and they do not have the cranberry extract in it (making it useless).

ETA: I fail at typing.

Okay. So you guys dont think it cause her box is dirty you think its cause she has crystal?

Either is a possibility, but crystals are a real concern. Better to be safe than sorry (with a $400 emergency vet bill in hand

). Do your best to keep the litter box clean and have MULTIPLE boxes (!), try a litter that isn't heavily scented, because cat's don't like perfumes, and add some baking soda. Also make sure she has a supply of clean water in almost every room, and if possible, keep track of how often and possibly how she drinks. Monitor her as closely as you can, and if the situation improves (from some litter box adjustments), maybe that will solve the problem. However, crystals in cats most often reoccur with no rhyme or reason

. Just touch base with the vet, regardless of her last exam, they should be able to help you. Good luck, I know it's not a fun experience.
