Why is my chicken crouching when i come?

WOW REALLY?!!?!? <;D
Well if i am leader then why do they run away from me plus sometimes when they already crouched they don't crouch anymore sometimes... How can i be friendly? I would love to be a rooster ):

Well, some chickens don't take you as leader. That's why some of them run away.
To be friendly, no loud noises near them, as that will scare them. Sudden movements, etc will scare them.

Then go and own the animals then. By the way, when you picked the chicken up while she was eating? Was then she being friendly plus petted so they won't run away from me? And if yes then do you give them a lot of more foods or just a little food to pet them?

Food is one way to do it. So is spending time with them.

This. If you're grabbing them when they submit they will stop.

Some will also run from their rooster if he's too rough and doesn't woo them properly.

Like all of the other posters, I'd say it's a normal thing for a chicken to do. Chickens are guided by instinct more so than mammals, so this is ingrained in their minds. All of ours do it, some more than others. And they always crouch for me, but not always for my family members. It will make them easier to catch as well!! It's not always out of fear (though sometimes it is,) but mainly they're making it easier for the rooster to mount them (we don't have a rooster, so to them us humans are the alphas!) LOL... as @3KillerBs and @PearGirl say, you are their rooster! Have your chickens started laying yet? They might become more friendly. You might also try sitting down with some scratch/treats and letting them come to you. Don't try to pet or touch them the first week or so. You may find they get friendlier.

EXACTLY!!! My hen lays started laying eggs because it's not anymore winterly cold. One hen was with me, but i just taked up the big golden fat chicken and that one chicken came closer and stared at me. So i need only 1 weeks to do this so they would be friendly? I also watch what are chickens doing...

Why not? Because as prey animals being grabbed generally leads to being eaten. The noises they make when being grabbed are noises of fear.

The dominant animal or the leader! Usually the rooster is the alpha because he can protect the hens, but since we don't have one, they probably consider me to be the leader!

Thats what I do with my girls. The new ones have convinced them all that I'm their roo, and they all want love
