Why is my chickens egg tiny

Please tell me why

If she's a new layer, the eggs will be smaller and vary in size for awhile. My Sapphire Splash still bounces back and forth from medium to extra large (double yolks!) and she's been laying about 6 weeks now.

Probably a new layer! And it's completely normal. If it's a bantam breed, that's also normal.
