Why is my hen ill please help🥺

hey guys…
she has passed away…
you Guys tried your best so you deserve to know what really happened… I woke up at 4:40 and heard some rustling. I quickly ran over to her bed and I knew she was going. I gave here a hug and checked her heart beat. Nothing. She was gone. I cried for hours
but mum said there was nothing we could do. Mum said she died in her sleep, that’s the best way to die she said. I just want to say thank you. All of you, for trying to help.

Really sorry to hear that she didn't make it. She was such a cutie. Chickens hide their illnesses as long as they can to protect them from predators, but it also means that by the time we can tell they are sick a lot of them are beyond help.

Please know that you did all you could, and your mom is right, going peacefully in her sleep was the best you could hope for. Feel good that you gave her a good life and a peaceful death inside where it is warm and comfortable. You are a good chicken momma.
