Why is my hen's face swollen?

I would think not, it’s not the same medication. Diphenhydramine is inexpensive, can you get some? Most OTC sleep aids are diphenhydramine if you have those.
It's 9pm here, we might be able to get some tomorrow. I'm not old enough to drive but I'll try to convince my parents to go to the store and get some.

I wouldn’t use anything but Benadryl, but if you cannot get it tonight, don’t sweat it. Using the Benadryl would just help if it is an allergic reaction to a sting. The swelling should go down eventually on its own, unless there is cellulitis. Antibiotics may be needed if it is that.

Update: Ellie's face is still swollen this morning and is now a little crusty/watery around the eye. I found an allergy pill that has Diphenhydramine in it, hopefully that will work. I'm about to weigh Ellie to see if the 25mg tablet is the correct dose or if I should break it. Should I clean her eye out? I have Vetericyn ophthalmic gel for animals

I would use 1/3 of a tablet. That is what I used for Goldie and she is about 6.5 lbs.
