Why is my pea hen cluking

Do pea hen cluke like a chicken hen.Mine is. Is she going to lay?

Its possible but mine do it all the time not just at point of lay.

Our girls seem to cluck when they're worried about something (for example, if I walk up to them too quickly).
Did you just close her up in the pen? She might be worried about her change of circumstances.

When my peahens pace around the cage before laying they make cluck-like noises. But only before laying, so only like half an hour.
