Why is my quail egg cracking ??

Hi I'm fairly new to this forum and I've never hatched quail before and am hatching one egg right now (there were three but the others were infertilite ) the egg should hatch any day now but all the sudden there was a little circular crack the baby is not peeping and no one has touched it the crack is very slowly getting bigger . Why ?? And what should I do ??

The egg sounds like it is hatching. Do nothing. Leave the incubator closed and be patient. Good luck.

Leave the egg,it sounds like the chick is hatching. Sometimes they won't peep, I remember mine were quiet but we're noisy after hatching

The egg might have been hatching at one point but after a while ( a day or more ) I opened it and the chick was dead

I'm sorry for your loss. Maybe better luck next time? Well how high was the humidity?
