Up untill this summer I have had a silkie roo over several silkies and a showgirl hen, running with them was a showgirl roo. The silkie roo dominated the pen so the sg roo didn't get a chance. I wanted the sg roo to breed so sold the silkie roo.. but now all my eggs are not fertile? I have seen the sg roo acting sortof rooish but not hopping on and he actually fights the hens off to eat?( plenty of food just doesn't let them close?) hummm? He is over a year old. Is he so put off by the silkie roo he just wont try? He is with several young chickens but only 4 silkie hens. I did have to treet him for a sinus infection this october gave them all vetrx and tylan 50.
